Open Knowledge Nepal is a non-profit civic tech organization comprised of openness enthusiasts. We believe that open data fosters a participatory government and civil society, contributing to sustainable development. The organization is actively engaged in research, advocacy, training, and the development of open knowledge tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze, manage, and ensure the integrity of data collected from various projects and initiatives.
- Operations Management: Support day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, budgeting, and internal process improvements.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain documentation for project activities, reports, and internal systems.
- Project Coordination: Assist in managing the assigned civic-tech projects.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with interns, fellows, partner organizations, and collaborators in project activities.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and maintain operational and administrative records.
- Support Fundraising: Assist in the development of project proposals, budgets, and funding applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Project Management, or a related discipline).
- Proven experience in data analysis and management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience in non-profit or civic-tech environments is a plus.
- Fluency in both English and Nepali languages.
Location
- Remote with flexible working hours.
Compensation
- Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
