Climate Knowledge Portal (Nepal)

The Hindu Kush Himalaya is warming nearly three times faster than the global average, putting the glacial meltwater relied on by 240 million people at risk, yet Nepal's climate data is scattered across government reports, research institutions and locked down systems. The Climate Knowledge Portal brings it together in one place: curated open datasets on glaciers, temperature and more, a research library of journals and government assessments organised by theme, and cross references to authoritative global sources (World Bank, Copernicus, NASA GISS, IPCC and others) that carry Nepal specific data.

The portal is deliberately open source and collaborative. Datasets and journals live on GitHub, and researchers, students and civil society groups are invited to contribute data, papers or code to build out Nepal's most complete open climate record.
