Open Data Nepal (ODN)

Open Data Nepal (ODN) is a civil society initiative making Nepal's public data accessible online, permanently and without restriction. Researchers, journalists, policymakers and developers use the portal to discover datasets spanning governance, health, education, environment and the economy, then download, filter and build on them freely.

Beyond hosting data, ODN pairs each dataset with tools to make it usable. This includes an AI assistant that helps people find datasets and build charts, a full data API for developers, and a growing library of Data Stories that turn raw numbers into readable analysis of issues facing Nepal today.
