Following the announcement of the branding update made by the Open Knowledge Foundation; Today, we are excited to launch the updated identity and revamped website of Open Knowledge Nepal.
The logo and color branding of OKN has been updated and the organization website – a gateway to promote open knowledge and support open movement in Nepal, has been revamped to reflect the changes.
The updates are also reflected on Open Knowledge Nepal’s social accounts like Twitter, Facebook, and GitHub.
We aim to liberate knowledge for opportunities and want to see “Open By Default” in the DNA of a knowledge society. Here knowledge is represented material – whether it is content, data, or information – which anyone is free to use, re-use and redistribute without restriction. This will be supportive for constructing better governance, better economy, better society.
As an organization we want to make sure that everyone in Nepal has free and open access to the key information, empowering them to make decisions about their own lives based on the information that wasn’t available before.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or queries about the updated identity. We would also like to thank everyone who was part of our journey directly and indirectly.
