Internal Data Learning Session is Weekly informal event where we meet every Sunday 05:00 to 07:00 PM (Changed Day and Time) for some new Discussion, Training, Workshop etc. Every week one of the member of OKFN Nepal community share their ideas to the new Participant of Internal Data Learning Session and motivate them to get engaged with the community, because of this reasons our community is getting bigger slowly and alot of people are interested to work with us.

With the same idea and vision, We again gather at Smart Samaj, Kamaladi, Kathmandu in the date of 15 June 2014 and this time there where 15 people with us. In between those 15 people 9 were very new to our community so, we decided to give them Training of DataHub.

There was an short introduction about the DataHub at first and then we discuss about the importance of DataHub in Nepal, everyone gave their views. So, after an short introduction we decide to add some municipality data of different place of Nepal in our Hub, Participant start searching for data but unfortunately we didn’t find good data to upload. Then the plan was changed, we decide to upload data from data.opennepal.net, participant choose different categories of data and start uploading it at our DataHub.

After working for one hours 9 participant uploaded 63 datasets at our DataHub, Which was really cool and fast. If you also want to add your data to our DataHub just go through http://datahub.io/organization/nepal.
