On the latest meeting of Open Knowledge Foundation Network Nepal which was held in 13 March 2014 Kshitiz Khanal proposed a topic to run Internal Data Learning Sessions on different kinds of Data topics in every Saturday of the week and at the same day all the member of OKFN Nepal decided to start if from 22 March 2014.

With the aim of learning something new everyone gather at GPF Building, Kamaladi,Nepal at sharp 4:00 PM and Kshitiz Khanal told everyone see the course launched by Google at 18 March 2014 named “Making Sense of Data” at the starting.

 
That was really good course launched by Google where we can learn about different types of Data Classes, Data Types, Data Process, Data Structuring and Cleansing, Data Visualization, using Google Fusion Table etc.
So, at the very first day of Internal Data Learning Sessions we decided to go through the introduction of that course and all participant gain the knowledge about :

• Data Process

1. Prepare
2. Analyse
3. Apply

• Google Fusion Tables

• Data Types

• Visualization and Cleansing by using Google Fusion Table.

At the ending of the day everyone give the Pre-Course Assessment found at the course Page and while leaving we discuss about that Course, Assessment, Project etc.

 
According to the Announcements the final project and assessment of the course will be released March 28, 2014. If you also want to join and learn more about the data, be there in the coming Saturday 29 march 2014.
